Mobile Detailing at Your Curb: What to Expect
What happens when the van pulls up, so nothing about the visit is a surprise.

A lot of Philadelphians park on the street. Your car sits outside a rowhouse, and the idea of dropping it off and finding another way home for half a day is enough to keep detailing on the someday list. That's why we run mobile vans. We come to you, work at your curb, and leave the car clean where we found it. Alexis Lincoln said it well in her Google review: they got her in with an appointment the next day, showed up on time, and because they came right to her apartment where the car was parked out front, she could run in and out and keep working from home. This post covers what actually happens when the van pulls up, what we need from you, and what to do if you would rather bring the car to us on N American Street. None of it is complicated, but it helps to know before you book.
What the van brings with it
Mobile service costs no additional charge. The price is the price of the package you book, which starts at the From numbers on our service pages and varies with vehicle size. Our vans carry their own electrical generator and a custom water tank, so we don't need to plug into your house or borrow your hose. In rare cases, if the tank runs low, we may ask to use a water outlet at your location, and we'll let you know if that comes up. Everything else comes on the van: the people, the tools, and the products for the package you booked, whether that's a 45-minute Maintenance Detail from $85 or a steam-and-shampoo MVP Detail from $349. You can keep working or head out to run errands. Just make sure we have a way to reach you. Tell us the make and size of the car when you book, since a sedan, an SUV, and a three-row van each take a different amount of time. Call (267) 915-2953 and ask whether your block is within the area the van covers, and we'll confirm it before you pick a day.
There are a few things we need from you. The first is clear access and working space: a spot where the van can park close to the car and we can open the doors and move around it. A tight, crowded block can slow things down, so if parking is tricky, tell us when you book. The second is to empty the car of valuables. We aren't responsible for items left in the vehicle, and loose bags and papers just get in the way. Third, be straight with us about the condition. If a car turns out to need much more than what was booked, with heavy dirt, pet hair, or deep stains, we reserve the right to adjust pricing or decline the work. A clear description when you book helps us pick the right package from the start.
Timing, weather, and the studio option
We strive to arrive on time, but mobile work depends on things we can't control: traffic, weather, and how long the previous vehicle took. When the schedule shifts, we keep you updated rather than leaving you wondering. Weather can also mean a reschedule, since good detailing needs conditions that suit the work. If you need to cancel, we ask for 24 hours' notice, and a no-show may incur a fee or forfeit the service. Plan around the length of your package, which runs from 45 minutes for a Maintenance Detail to several hours for the deep packages, and pick a time when you're not about to need the car. None of this is unusual for a van-based service, but it's better to know it before you book than after.
Prefer to drop the car off? Our studio is at 1613 N American Street in Northern Liberties, and we're open Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, closed Sunday. A studio visit can make sense for the longest jobs, like a 14-hour Elite Ceramic Finish or a multi-hour paint correction, where you may prefer to leave the car in one place rather than have a van on your block. Ask us which jobs we run at the curb and which are better at the studio. If you have more than one vehicle, ask about our discount for booking multiple vehicles at once. Message us to discuss it. Both options are on the table when you call, and we'll help you pick whichever fits your week. Our Google rating is 4.7 from 89 reviews, and J R's review sums up what we aim for: easy booking, friendly service, and a car that looks right when you get it back.

A wash and a detail are different jobs, and choosing the wrong one is how people end up paying twice.
Why Paint Correction Comes Before a Ceramic Coating
A coating protects paint. It doesn't fix it, which is why the order of the work matters.
